Prawn Fried Rice



Prawn Fried Rice 🍚 🍤 ⠀

INGREDIENTS ⠀
Cooking oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, raw prawns, sliced fresh carrots, cooked corn, fresh broccoli, sliced bell peppers, cooked basmati rice, light soy sauce, sesame oil, fish sauce (optional), salt, pepper and a pinch of turmeric powder, fresh chilies and spring onions for garnish. ⠀
METHOD⠀
1- Heat some oil in a non stick pan over medium heat. ⠀
2- Add the garlic and ginger, cook for about 10 seconds or until fragrant – making sure not to burn. ⠀
2- Add prawns and cook for about 2 minutes until opaque. ⠀
3- Throw in the vegetables, stir fry until nearly cooked but still crisp.⠀
4- Add the rice, sesame oil, soy and fish sauce, turmeric powder and toss well together. ⠀
5- Sprinkle some salt and pepper to taste and cook for further 2-3 minutes. ⠀
6- Garnish with spring onions and fresh chilli. Serve immediately!
