The breakfast shown here can be made for under $2 per serving and is packed with protein. The sweetness from the sweet potato and apples play nicely against the saltiness of the ham. This breakfast is quick to make, all you need to do is sauté up some veggies and cook the sweet potatoes and eggs and it’s done. You don’t have to worry about cooking the meat because the ham is already precooked. My favorite part about prepping my breakfasts is that it gives me an extra 30 minutes of sleep in the morning and I already don’t sleep enough so it is much needed 😎

The Chicken and Sausage Gumbo  is a meal I developed for times I don’t want to spend time in the kitchen. It is a dump everything in a crockpot and go do something else kind of meal. Sometimes it’s nice to have these kind of meals in your back pocket for weeks you know you will be strapped for time and may not have the opportunity for your weekly prep. I love crockpot meals because you can throw lots of vegetables into them and they will take on the flavor of whatever else is in their with them making the veggies much easier to eat 😇😇
