For the smashed potatoes:.⠀
1 kg small potatoes.⠀
Toppings of your choice.⠀
Bring water to a boil, add the cleaned potatoes and cook them for about 25-30 minutes until they are soft (knife/fork test).⠀
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees celcius, put the cooked potatoes on a baking tray, smash them down with a potato masher or simply a bowl, add a drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of sea salt on the top of each potato and bake them for about 30 minutes until crispy and lightly browned. Put them on a plate and top with whatever you want!
