Weight Loss vs Weight Gain with Pulled Pork with Green Beans and Roasted Sweet Potatoes
Since originally writing this recipe I’ve developed a new method for cooking pulled pork and listen to me when I say this, it is 105x better than it was before. After the meat comes out of the crockpot spread it out on a sheet pan and broil it for a few minutes so the small edges can get crisp. It will add so much color to the meat and look more appetizing as well.
Making body composition changes is specific to the individual and it is different for all of us. You need to figure out where you stand in terms of calorie balance so you can edit your diet appropriately. As is the case with all of these posts, you can manipulate the meals just about any way you like to fit your needs. If you prefer to have more sweet potatoes then cut back a bit on the pork or something else in your day. If you want a leaner protein source try it with chicken breasts instead of pork butt.
