Soo I officially start my very last semester in university tomorrow. I still remember starting this account in the summer before my freshman year back in 2015. Now it’s 2019 and I’m (hopefully) graduating in June?!?! Pretty crazy how fast time goes by which reminds me to appreciate everything—both good and bad—and make the most out of the next few months I have left of this chapter in my life. ??

In other news, I made these Barbecue Tofu Bites and dipped them in some black sesame nori sauce (sounds like a really off combo, but trust me it was soo good) from @simpl_sauces. I didn’t get to measure the exact ingredients for this one so it’s something I still need to work on but I will share my favorite barbecue sauce recipe below! ✨

Homemade Barbecue Sauce
-1 cup tomato ketchup -1/2 cup water
-5 tbsp coco sugar -1 tbsp lemon juice
-1 tbsp liquid aminos/soy sauce
-1/2 cup cane vinegar
-1/2 tsp black pepper
-1/2 tsp onion powder

1. In a saucepan, add all ingredients, bring to a boil then simmer over low heat. Stir frequently for 20 minutes.
