Kiampung: a Filipino-Chinese Glutinous Rice Casserole ❤️ growing up with both Filipino and Chinese influences, I enjoyed this dish in a lot of different occasions. It’s made with some sticky glutinous rice and vegetables which I really love. We also always serve something sticky on both New Year and Lunar New Year since there’s a belief in both Filipino and Chinese cultures that serving sticky dishes (usually in the form of sticky rice cakes and ‘kakanin’ in Filipino), symbolise families ’sticking’ together.

This Kiampung recipe is from the ‘Filipino Favourites’ section of my Vegan Kitchen eBook, that has a lot of recipes that really mean a lot to me.

You can also get a special ??% ??? my eBook by using the code ‘????????????’ until January 26, Manila Time (GMT +8). Click the link in my bio or head on over to ?????.??/?????????

Hope you all have a happy weekend spent with your friends, family, and loved ones! ❤️
