Turmeric Spiced Chickpea Patties with Sweet & Spicy Tahini Sauce?? .
Hi friends! Getting back to “normal” over here, with back to work and back to school, and feeling thankful it’s a short week to ease back in! Is anyone with me on that? ?? Anyway, ringing in the return to normalcy with these delicious chickpea patties served with some favorites. ????

1 cup chickpeas (cooked from dry)
1/4 cup packed fresh parsley
1 tbsp pourable tahini
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp salt (less if using canned chickpeas that contain salt)
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1 large clove garlic minced
1/4 tsp each turmeric, cumin, onion powder
(Oil for pan frying)
In a food processor, pulse to combine all ingredients. Scrape down sides and pulse again until mixture is blended. Shape into patties (4) and cook for 4-5 min per side in a shallow pan with oil over medium heat. Drizzle liberally with tahini sauce and (optional) serve with olives, sun dried tomatoes and marinated artichokes. Tahini sauce: ??1/4 cup pourable tahini + juice of 1 lemon + 2 to 3 tbsp water + 1 to 2 tsp maple syrup + 1/2 tsp salt + 1/2 tsp cumin + finely chopped parsley…add a dash of cayenne, red chili flakes or sriracha to spice things up ?
