?Chickpea chili ‘cheeze’ fries?Phenomenally delicious IMO?And super healthy.
?Recipe: Mix dry ingredients: 1 cup chickpea flour, 2 tbsp nutritional yeast, 2 tbsp ground flaxseed, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp chili powder, 1-1/2 tsp baking powder. Bring 2-3/4 cups water to a boil, reduce heat and add dry ingredients slowly while whisking vigorously to prevent lumps forming. Once water is absorbed and mixture looks like polenta, taste and add salt as desired. Pour mixture onto lined baking sheet evenly, about 3/4 inch thick. Let sit about 30 minutes until firm. Carefully cut into rectangular shapes. Either air fry or bake on lined sheet at 400F until golden brown, flipping half way. (Optional: brush each side lightly with a little olive oil before cooking.) .
