I love how this meal looks in pictures, it always photographs really well. This meal is a great dish to use when trying to lose weight. It’s fairly light but you can easily add volume for few calories. The celery, carrots, and peppers are some of the lowest calorie volume foods you can find. Chicken breast is one of the lowest calorie meats per gram and Buffalo sauce is vinegar based instead of sugar so you can add lots of calorie cheap flavor. I’m attempting to cut a little bit of fat right now so high volume foods need to be a staple for me to feel normal. .

The weight gain side here has more than 2x the amount of quinoa and more chicken than the weight loss side. The quinoa is also drizzled with olive oil to add fat and more importantly, calories. Another way to add calories to this meal would be to toss the chicken and buffalo sauce with a little bit of melted butter. It would probably make them taste a bit more like authentic chicken wings. The weight loss side has extra vegetables for volume purposes. I like to try and make sure the weight loss sides have plenty of meat because that is what I find fills me up the most??
