Cauliflower gnocchi with basil pesto sauce – yay or nay?

Have you tried cauli gnocchi before or are you a fan of gnocchi made from potatoes? Let me know??

Personally, my experience with gnocchi is very little, but this frozen cauli gnocchi from @traderjoes is out of this world with clean ingredients!?
Chewy and no cauli taste – I used the pan fried method for that beautiful crispy look. .
Paired it with Dana’s @minimalistbaker basil pesto sauce and some blistered?, you’ll have a wonderful Italian meal!?

Basil pesto recipe from Dana’s with some minor adjustments (you must be wondering why do I always change the recipe.. but that’s the fun of trying new things, right??):
~ 2 cups of fresh basil
~ 3 tbsp pine nuts (used a bit more on mine?)
~ 3 large garlic cloves (peeled)
~ 3 heaping tbsp nutrional yeast
~ 1/4 tsp salt
~ 2-3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (used 1/8 cup on mine since I omit the water)
Blend all ingredients except extra virgin olive oil until it turns pastey-like, then slowly add in extra virgin olive oil, you may not need all 1/8 cup like mine if you have a smaller food processor. (Lesson learned: use a smaller food processor or double my ingredients)

Cook cauli gnocchi according to package instructions, stir in pesto sauce and serve warm. The above pesto sauce was enough for my 2 packs of cauli gnocchi. In fact, I have some extra and used as dipping sauce for my toasted ?! Soo good! Did I say this is kids’ approved? They thought it was mozzarella ball!?
