It’s #toasttuesday so here’s some toasts I made and devoured! (P.S. I’m team savory toasts ??)

What do you like having on your toast?

Left – Pizza toasts (again) with a tomato and basil cashew cream, crumbled sausage from @inanutshellph, tomatoes, olives, and fresh basil
__
Right – chickpea “tuna” toasts topped with some sautéed mushrooms, purple cabbage, tomatoes, and dill
__
Will share the recipe below for the chickpea tuna spread!

Chickpea ‘Tuna’ Spread
1 cup cooked chickpeas
1/2 cup vegan mayo/cashew cream
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tbsp fresh dill, roughly chopped
2 tsp maple syrup
1. Mash the chickpeas using a fork or quickly process it.
2. Add all the ingredients and mix in a bowl. Adjust seasoning to taste. .
