It just tastes better, is less sweet and contains no unnecessary additives like many of the purchased granola blends.
I would like to show you today how to quickly and easily make a super fine and healthy muesli mixture yourself!
Basically everything is what you like in the cereal and you really need no recipe for it. And you can also vary the amount of the respective ingredients as you wish.
2 cups of oatmeal
1 cup of almonds
1/2 cup pistachios
5 tablespoons of flaxseed
Dried coconut flakes
3 teaspoons cinnamon @hartkorn_gewuerze
1-2 vanilla pods @hartkorn_gewuerze
about 4 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup (although at the end I mostly add a big extra portion of honey over it.) You can eat as much as you like!)
about 4 tablespoons of coconut oil or otherwise a neutral oil such as rapeseed oil
The dry ingredients I made shortly before in the Thermomix small for a few seconds. ,
THAT'S HOW IT'S DONE:
In a small pan, lightly heat the oil with the cinnamon, the vanilla and the scratched vanilla pod. Add maple syrup or honey. Simmer for 5 – 10 minutes over moderate heat to allow the aromas to develop nicely.
All remaining dry ingredients are mixed well in a large bowl.
Put the oil with the spices over the remaining ingredients in the mixing bowl and mix well. If the mixture is still too sticky and you like it nice crunchy, just add more honey and mix well.
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Place half of the mixture on a baking sheet and distribute.
Take out of the oven after 8 minutes and mix everything again and bake for another 10 minutes.
