New recipe! Chinese Chive Pies ? —these remind me of the pan-fried buns I’d enjoy in Taipei but in pie form (also they’re like giant dumplings?!). I made my own dough for this and I really think freshly made dough makes a BIG DIFFERENCE. Freshly made wrappers from homemade dough turn out so much chewier, they also don’t easily break apart when you fill them with your choice of veggies and noodles.

This recipe makes 12 pies, which I ended up storing in the refrigerator for a few days then I’d just reheat them again and still be as good—though you might not even have leftovers ?
