French Toast muffins with cream cheese filling are available today. This time I did it differently than last time and cut out the toast slices with a large glass.
How do you like it? I always try to do something new and thought the idea was very cute ☺️.
What I have to say about it is a bit difficult to get the muffins out of the molds. What I can recommend is a silicone baking pan.
What you need:
8 slices of toasted bread
Cut out 4 x with a large glass and 4 x with a smaller one for the lid.
2 eggs
150 ml 1.5% milk
vanilla extract
cinnamon
3 tbsp erythritol @ got7nutrition
Mix all the ingredients except for the toast slices and dip the cut toasts in the egg / milk mixture until they have soaked. Then put the toasts in a greased muffin tin and press them down a bit.
For the filling, I mixed 150g cream cheese with 50 g powdered sugar with a hand mixer and added 1.5 tbsp each to the wells. Then dip the remaining circles of toast back into the egg / milk mixture and put the lid on it.
Finally sprinkle with cinnamon & xucker and bake at 200 ° for about 20 minutes.
