(Recipe below!) Sweet and sour “meat”balls—I grew up eating this dish at home and finally got to make a vegan version of it! The full recipe will be in my ebook (I have so many recipes I can’t wait for you all to try) but I’ll share the sweet and sour sauce I made below! It goes well with fried foods or even as a noodle sauce!
__
As for the meatballs, you can find a similar recipe from “spaghetti and meatballs” over on my blog. Link in bio. Hope you all have a great week ahead! ❤️
__
Sweet and Sour Glaze/Sauce (makes around 3/4 cup)
2 tbsp ketchup (I used Heinz)
6 tbsp water
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
1/2 tbsp corn starch diluted in 1 tbsp water
__
1. In a pan, mix all ingredients together except for the corn starch over medium heat.
2. Cook until it starts to boil. Lower heat. Add in the cornstarch and mix until thick.
3. Enjoy as a glaze or dip with your favorite food! .
