Some time ago I discovered a wonderful and healthy breakfast for myself. It consists of little more than oatmeal and milk, combined with an almost endless selection of fruity and pithy toppings! The clue? Breakfast can be prepared super relaxed the night before. Therefore “Overnight Oats”
Basic recipe for one serving:
40 g oatmeal
120 ml unsweetened almond milk
½ tsp chia seeds if you like
1 tablespoon of Forever Ultra Vanilla
Depending on whether you prefer a firm consistency with pithy oatmeal or a pulpy variant, you can use more or less milk. If you like, you can add half a mashed banana to the basic mix. That makes the whole thing more substantial! Then leave to stand overnight in a sealable container (preferably a mason jar) in the refrigerator.
