🌱Sweet and spicy soy curls..gluten-free🌱I love the texture of soy curls. Sooo delicious. My kids devoured this meal. I bought Butler brand non-GMO from Amazon…hard to find locally sometimes. This is not TVP… it’s made from whole soy beans. Simply soak in water for 10 minutes, drain and very versatile to cook with. Happy Monday friends 💚
🌱Recipe: soak about 6oz dry soy curls in water for 10 minutes and then drain. Meanwhile, whisk sauce: 3 tbsp coconut aminos + 2 tbsp maple syrup + 1-1/2 tsp sriracha + 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil + 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar + 1 tsp grated ginger + 3 minced garlic cloves + 1/4 cup water. Separately make slurry by mixing 1 tbsp corn starch with 1 tbsp water. Once soy curls drained well, sauté in a little neutral oil in large non-stick skillet. Once starts to brown a little, remove from skillet. Add sauce to skillet and heat a little. Add corn starch slurry and keep mixing well until slightly thickened. Mix in soy curls and cook another 30 seconds, mixing. Serve immediately. .
