What are your deconstructed burrito bowl essentials? Mine always needs to have rice (this is turmeric cumin rice), black beans, tomatoes, bell peppers, corn, lettuce, cabbage, guacamole, and a good creamy sauce (I had a sweet potato cashew cream! — find the recipe on my website)

Anyway, i haven’t been as active here as I usually am because I haven’t been in my top shape recently. I’m currently not feeling well (I have a sore throat and persistent headaches) so I haven’t really been in the kitchen much. I’ve been sleeping A LOT lately (getting more than 8 hours of sleep a night) which really isn’t me because I can run perfectly on 6-7 hours of sleep and wake up fully rested. Oh and my camera’s currently in the service center too so I haven’t been cooking and shooting much lately either. I’m seeing all that’s happened in the past week or so as a sign for me to get some rest and take a break from constantly doing something and just slow down a bit because I have a habit of wanting to do everything at once. It actually feels really good taking things slowly even just for a while. I need to remind myself that IT’S OKAY to take things slow once in a while and trying my best not to overthink too much about having to achieve so many things in a short amount of time and always being productive. There’s so much I want to do but at the end of the day I need to know when to take breaks and get well needed rest. So yes, there’s that. Hope you’re all doing well! ?
