NOT going to lie…
There was a point in time where chancy and I wanted a “specific breed” & loved the idea of having a puppy.
Did we really even think about where we would get a pup? No, we just wanted a little angel pup to bless our lives.
Then we took a step back, did our research and truly opened our eyes…it then became clear as to what route we would go when we were ready for a pup. While we love all doggos no matter HOW they got here on earth… We set out to adopt a rescue pup. There are SO many dogs in shelters and rescues that NEED a home. I repeat, SO MANY ?
We didn’t have a specific breed in mind (just a smaller nugget, since we live in a studio), we were open to any age really… (through my research I learned that older dogs have a way harder time getting adopted)… so when we saw our little guy was 8 years old, we knew he needed our love ASAP!
We love him SO MUCH. He is such a snuggle bug and just the sweetest angel. We are so grateful for the incredible woman @patitasdelacalle_ng who rescued him in Mexico and sponsored the surgeries he needed (he had a broken leg when he was found ?). We are also very appreciative of the family who fostered him and @thebarkinglotrescue For all the incredible work they do!
