Toasting to Tuesday with one of my classic veggie sandwiches, upgraded with SMOKEY TOFU ✨ If you’ve been following me for a while, you know there’s nothing I love more than a good vegan sandwich 🤤 But add some simple smokey tofu on there and I’m in absolute heaven 🙌🏼 This tofu recipe comes together in 15 minutes and is the perfect addition to any sandwich, salad, nourish bowl or snack 🌿.
To make the tofu👇🏼:
Whisk together 1 tbsp of low sodium soy sauce, 1 tbsp maple syrup, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp smoked paprika, 1/4 tsp black pepper + 1/2 tsp liquid smoke (optional). Slice 1/3 block of tofu to be 1 cm thick, and let marinate for 15 mins. Once done, cook in non-stick pan over medium heat for 3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown, with the remaining marinade drizzled on top. Enjoy! 💛
