These chocolate rolls are currently THE hit in my family. They are easy to make and are perfect for freezing and baking.
Edwin's words: “hmmm mom, I love chocolate rolls ?. Have a nice Sunday ?. Ingredients:
500g wheat flour (type 405)
80g sugar or xyilite
1 cube of fresh yeast or 2 packets of dry yeast
80g butter (liquid / lukewarm)
300ml milk (lukewarm)
1 level teaspoon of salt
hazelnut spread
1 egg yolk + a sip of milk to brush
Put the flour in a large bowl, press the bowl into it and pour in some sugar (about 1 teaspoon). Crumble the yeast and dissolve with a sip of the lukewarm milk (2-3 tbsp).
Add the other ingredients and knead vigorously and for a long time until a smooth dough is formed. This should not be too dry, but also no longer stick to your hands. Cover the bowl with a dish towel and let the dough rise in a warm place until it doubles. This takes at least an hour.
Then divide the dough into 10-12 portions on a baking mat with a dough card.
Roll out the dough round and put 1 tablespoon of hazelnut spread on it. Fold the dough together like a fan and press it so that nothing later runs out. Please make sure that the back stays nice and round and place the nice side of the buns on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Let the rolls rise again for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 190 ° C. Mix the egg yolks and milk and spread them on the dough pieces. Bake for about 15-30 minutes.
