Summer Pasta with Blistered Cherry Tomatoes (Air Fried) 🍅🍅🍅: ahhh Tomato season.Is there anything better? Here’s an easy NO-COOK & EASY tomato sauce recipe for you using an air fryer to blister the tomatoes. I’m in love with my air fryer at the moment, especially in the summer heat. No oven needed 🙌🏼 Recipe below ⬇️⬇️ What you need: 2 pints of cherry tomatoes. 1 pint will be used for the air fryer, the other pint of tomatoes will be halved horizontally (not in air fryer), 1 clove grated garlic, 2 tbl olive oil, 1 tbl white miso paste, 1 tbl vegan butter, 3 tsp red wine vinegar, crushed red pepper flakes/ sea salt to taste, 1/4 cup chopped basil, 1/4 cup chopped chives What you do:
1️⃣ Line air fryer tray with foil. Using 1 pint of cherry tomatoes, air fry at 400 F for 10 min. There will be some popping, no worries, thats the tomatoes blistering
2️⃣When tomatoes are finished, let cool for 5 min. Add to a large mixing bowl with the sliced tomatoes.
3️⃣ Next add olive oil, butter, miso paste, vinegar, crushed red pepper, & salt. Mix well, making sure the miso paste has dissolved
4️⃣Cover bowl, let sauce marry for 30min-2 hrs
5️⃣Cook pasta according to directions in well salted boiling water. No need to use a strainer/colander. Scoop pasta with heat resistant slotted spoon & scoop pasta right into the sauce.This gives you a bit of the starchy water to thicken your sauce
6️⃣Top with fresh herbs, basil & chives. Enjoy!! Happy Tuesday 💚🙃
