SATURDAY OATMEAL ✨ Full disclosure- this is not at all what my oatmeal looks like this morning ? But regardless, oatmeal is such a great staple for eating plant-based when traveling. I love it because it’s a great source of iron, fibre, carbs and some protein, helping to keep me full for days jam packed with activities ?? I always try to add delicious toppings like fruit for sweetness, nuts and seeds for extra protein and crunch, and a little maple syrup or brown sugar if I’m in the mood. The hotel I’m in even stocked soy milk which I added for creaminess! Most hotels have oatmeal in their continental breakfast, but you can always buy the unsweetened packets and make it with hot water from the coffee machine in your hotel room!
