ORANGE GARLIC SALMON to start out the holiday week. Happy Monday loves! Back from an unplanned weekend off the gram! I can’t believe this week is Thanksgiving…tine flies by. Taking a break from holiday food, since I’ve been eating it every day for the past two weeks. Made this orange garlic salmon today and it is FABULOUS. Super easy and super flavorful. Swipe to see the step by steps (in descending order). Still a little under the weather, but getting better. Resting up since we are going away skiing on Thursday. What are your holiday plans? •


Deets: 1 pound of wild salmon, seared for 4 minutes skin side down in ghee or oil over medium heat, then flipped for another 3-4 minutes. Remove from pan. Add 3 cloves chopped garlic and sauté for 30 seconds then add 1/2 cup broth (I used @bonafideprovisions), 1/2 cup orange juice, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 teaspoon coconut aminos, 1 teaspoon tomato paste and bring to a boil. Add 1 teaspoon of orange zest, some thyme sprigs and 1/2 tablespoon arrowroot starch mixed in some water and whisk to thicken. Place salmon back in the pan with the sauce and allow to cook for 2 minutes. Serve with rice or cauliflower rice and veggies!
