NOURISH BOWL ✨ Seriously one of the easiest lunches or dinners to throw together, that can be easily meal prepped. I love nourish bowls because I can prep all the components ahead of time, then prep whatever sauce sounds good to me that week! 🙌🏼 I always think about these things when I’m prepping bowls:
.
🌿Plant-protein: Here I’ve used roasted chickpeas, but you could also do lentils, black beans, tofu, tempeh, or edamame!
.
🌿Carbs: Here I have brown rice and sweet potato, but I also love rice noodles, buckwheat noodles, whole wheat pasta, or any other grain!
.
🌿Veggies: I usually roast a big pan of veggies on the weekend to throw into these bowls. Lately I’ve been loving broccoli and red cabbage, but you can also use fresh veggies to save even more time!
.
🌿Flavour: So, SO important and an area I see a lot of my clients lacking! When we get so wrapped up in eating nutritious foods, we can often forget about one of the most important parts- making them taste good!
