Cook oatmeal as per your preference (I usually do the same amount of rolled oats as plant-based milk and simmer on the stovetop, stirring frequently for about 7-10 minutes). Chop one apple and add to a separate pan with 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1 tbsp maple syrup. Cook over medium heat for ~5 minutes, until apples are fragrant and slightly softened and browned. Add to oatmeal and add any other toppings you like- I kept it simple with peanut butter. Enjoy! ?
