MY KIND OF TOAST!
Nothing better then GOOD rustic bread, homemade hummus and sautéed shiitake mushrooms✨

1 Can garbanzo beans (drained)
1/4 cup tahini
2-3 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 cup water
Juice of 1 lemon
Method: combine all ingredients in food processor and blend until completely smooth, I blended for 3 minutes on high. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. If too thick add a bit more water.
Shiitake mushrooms, sliced
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tbsp 100% pure maple syrup
1 tsp avocado oil
Salt & pepper
In a small bowl combine pure maple syrup and soy sauce. Whisk to combine. Slice mushrooms and place in bowl making sure each mushrooms is covered in sauce. In a pan over medium heat add oil and sauté mushrooms for 2 minutes or until golden. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper then remove from heat.
Slice and Toast your rustic Bread (I loooove @sadierosebakingco ), spread a generous layer of hummus, top it with mushrooms, a pinch of pepper, and fresh cilantro. •
