Matcha shortbread cookies?
Happy Tuesday, everyone.?
Sending you some sweets today, simple cookies with natural colors from #unicornsuperfoods Alkalising blend.
What would you pair these cookies with? Black coffee or tea? Although I share a lot of savory food but I do ? baking.?

Recipe
Dry Ingredients:
~ 1 cup all purpose flour, minus 3 teaspoons to fit below:
?1 teaspoon matcha powder (used @matchalove brand)
?2 teaspoons @unicornsuperfoods Alkalising blend
~ 1/4 cup organic powdered sugar
Wet ingredients:
~ 4 oz butter, room temperature (used @miyokoscreamery brand)
~ 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Chocolate cover:
~ 3-4 oz semi sweet chocolate (used @enjoylifefoods brand)
?Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl and sift twice.?
Using a mixer with paddle attachment, cream butter and add vanilla extract. ✔️With speed setting on low, slowly pour in dry ingredients and mix well until a dough is formed.
Place dough and roll into a log, wrap with parchment paper and freeze. ✔️Then, let thaw a little in room temperature, and cut into 1″ thick pieces. Since I love my cookies flaky, I freeze it again while preheating my oven to 350F. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
Tamper chocolate using a double boiler, dip cookies and let set.?
