Kimchi fried rice, anyone?
.
Happy Tuesday, my Insta friends☺️
Do you agree fried rice is the best way to use up leftover rice? What about adding some awesome probiotics too? Win-Win if you asked me.?
.
From a magazine inspo, I decided to make some myself!
Recipe:
~ 1-2 cups of cooked rice
~ 3-4 heaping tablespoons of your favorite kimchi
~ 3/4 cups broccoli, chopped (used stems and florets)
~ 2 tsp sesame oil
~ gochujang (optional)
~ salt to taste (I didn’t add any)
In a heated non-stick pan, add kimchi to remove moisture. Push to side, add sesame oil then broccoli and stir fry for few minutes. Add rice, gochujang and mix until well combined. Season if needed. The kimchi I used was quite flavorful, so I skipped my salt. Serve warm with sesame seeds!
.
What do you think? Easy peasy?? Let me know??. Have a lovely ?Tuesday, everyone!
