In a sincere attempt to make #tofutuesday a “thing”, I’m sharing some grilled tofu slices topped with a tangy mix of balsamic veggies! Should I do more of these tofu dishes? Let me know in the comments! ?? .

My new way to cook tofu is to slice the tofu block into thirds, to make 3 relatively thin slices that fit so well in a grill pan. With a small amount of oil, these cook up over medium heat with little to no babysitting. ??

I cook on the first side for about 5 to 7 minutes until browned, then flip and cook the second side. Add plenty of seasoning to the slices, and really feel free to mix up the spice combos! Here I went with simple salt, pepper, basil, oregano and garlic powder. Topped with @daiyafoods shredded cheez and sauteed veggies (onions, peppers, mushrooms and baby spinach) in balsamic vinaigrette. ???
