HOMEMADE GRANOLA ✨ Okay, okay, I know for those of us based in Canada it’s far from smoothie bowl season… but the heart wants what it wants (even though it’s snowing today ?). No matter the season, I always find myself craving a nice cold smoothie after a weekend long run, and topping it with this granola never disappoints. I made something super similar today after an 11 miler in the snow and it totally hit the spot ?? Do you crave smoothies in the winter too, or am I alone in that? ?.

To make:
Mix 1 cup of rolled oats, 1/2 cup sunflower seeds, 1/3 cup of pumpkin seeds, 1/2 cup coconut flakes, 2 tbsp tahini, 1 tbsp maple syrup, 1 tsp cinnamon + 1 tsp ground ginger in a bowl until combined. Spread flat on a lined baking tray and cook at 375 F for 20 mins or until golden brown, mixing every ~5 mins to cook evenly. Use as a cereal or to top smoothie bowls or plant-based yogurt!
