After a very long time, there is finally a delicious sponge roll with jam and cream. I made the dough with the Thermomix. You can also do it with a food processor.
For the sponge cake you need:
4 eggs
1 TEASPOON. vanilla sugar
180 g sugar or other sweet
90 g of flour
30 g starch
1 teaspoon Baking powder
Eggs, vanilla sugar and sugar 7 min / step3 / 37oC
whisk with the stirring attachment.
Add flour, starch and baking powder
Stir in for 2/15 seconds.
Spread the dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper
and in the preheated oven
200 ° C for about 10 min. to bake.
Fall onto a sugared tea towel, roll up and let cool.
For the filling:
Strawberry jam
250ml Rama Creamefine for whipping or whipped cream
2 tsp San-apart
Whip the cream with 2 teaspoons San-apart until stiff with a hand mixer.
Spread the strawberry jam on the cooled biscuit roll and then the cream.
Finally, it is rolled up again and placed in the refrigerator for a few hours.
