Favorite Easter wreath / yeast wreath (recipe) 🐰🌷🐣 What is of course not missing on the Easter table is a fluffy, soft Easter wreath! The best I’ve ever eaten! Because of the long walking time and the corn starch it becomes like a cloud!
Everything takes time, so it is with a perfect yeast dough! If you try it, don’t be scared if the dough is sticky! Dat must be 🤪.
Please do not add any additional flour, but this is again below!
Have a great Easter weekend 🐰 🏡
Ingredients:
90ml milk
10g fresh yeast (alternative 3-4g dry yeast)
40g sugar
30g sunflower oil,
220g flour (405)
1 egg
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar
10g corn starch
½ tsp salt
50g raisins (as desired), almond leaves to sprinkle. 💡 Tip: Please make sure that your ingredients that come into contact with the yeast are all room warm. Preparation of yeast dough:
Put the lukewarm milk in a mixing bowl and crumble the yeast. Add sugar and stir. Then add the flour, salt, vanilla sugar and cornstarch, 1 egg + 1 egg yolk and sunflower oil and knead with a food processor for about 15 minutes.
📍The dough is very soft and sticky! Please do not add flour. Use a kitchen spatula to scrape the dough out of the bowl and knead it in again with the help of the spatula and turn it over until it has a nice from .. (you can just throw it on the work surface). ▪️Place the dough in a lightly floured bowl, swivel it a little and close it airtight with transparent film or a lid. The dough must now rest for approx. 1 -1 ½ hours (in a warm place).
When the dough has doubled, it can be processed further.
