‘Egg’ scramble, anyone?
.
Happy ?day, my Insta friends!?
Join me in making this simple family’s approved ‘egg’ dish that’s good for any meal, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner or even as high protein snacks!? This was my first dish that I learned from volunteering at my temple’s kitchen many many years ago.?
.
Tofu comes in many form, most common ones are: silken, soft, firm, and extra firm. Today I am using firm tofu. Let’s get started!
.
Ingredients:
~ 1 package firm tofu, drained and mashed
~ 2 small?,shredded
~ ? and 1 tsp sesame oil
~ salt and white pepper to taste
In a heated pan with 3 tsp avocado oil,
sauté carrot until soft, add tofu, and see they turn into eggy color. Season with salt and white pepper. If you can’t find white pepper, you may use fine black pepper but may alter the taste a teeny bit. Turn off heat and drizzle with sesame oil. This step makes the big difference and the flavor comes from here. Add some chopped cilantro and served warm with sesame seeds. Yum yum!! .
What do you think? Easy peasy?? Let me know?? Wishing everyone a lovely ?Wednesday!
