Eating plant-based when living with those who aren’t ✨ One of the most common questions I get from clients and members of Thriving on Plant-Based Fundamentals is HOW to feed your family or share meals with partners, parents, friends etc. when you’re plant-based and they’re not. Today on the blog, I’m spilling all of my tips for making this work ??.
.
I’ll share my biggest tip here, though- Make meals that are easily adaptable ? No, I don’t believe in making more than one meal. But you definitely can choose meals that can be adjusted based on the preferences of others. For example, your kids might LOVE mac and cheese, hate mushrooms, and feel pretty ‘meh’ about broccoli. Instead of omitting the veggies all together, serve them alongside something you know they love ?? They might not eat them, but even getting the exposure is so important for changing food preferences. Or maybe your spouse really can’t get over the thought of dinner without meat. Try making a delicious soup (I have an ebook for that- link in bio!), and they can choose to add meat to their portion if they wish! ✨.
