❤️You know what’s even better than pasta with pesto? Pesto-smothered potato and beans! This basic walnut pesto is absolutely delicious and versatile. 💚It’s my birthday tomorrow and I’m going to @abcvnyc for dinner🤗.
🌱Recipe walnut pesto: In food processor, pulse 2 garlic cloves until minced. Add 1/2 cup raw walnuts with 2 cups fresh basil leaves and pulse until coarsely ground. Drizzle 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil while continuing to process. Add 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice and 3 tbsp nutritional yeast and pulse until al incorporated. Salt to taste.
