🌱Creamy Garlicky Pasta🌱Cashew -free because sometimes you just don’t feel like more cashew cream!!! 💛I’m taking a little break from posting any pics until next week. Going to be really present with my little rascals and my sweet hubby (who has a Valentines birthday). I’ll be on here a little but only to see what you’re up to😜! Have a lovely Wednesday.💛
🌱Recipe: Cook 1 finely chopped shallot and 5 minced garlic cloves in just enough water to moisten, adding more as needed until shallot is just translucent. (You can sauté in olive oil if prefer.) Add 1-1/2 cups non-dairy milk, 1-1/2 tbsp all-purpose flour, 1 tbsp nutritional yeast, a few turns black pepper, sprinkle of red chili flakes and salt to taste. Keep mixing and bring to boil before reducing heat and simmering about 5-8 minutes until thickened. If you find it gets too thick you can add vegetable broth while mixing. Once desired thickness reached, remove from heat and add splash of fresh lemon juice and stir in 8oz cooked pasta. .
