Chili Mango Glazed Cauliflower ?—and yes another cauliflower recipe. I still want to work on this glaze recipe and make other variants of a mango glaze since this glaze is on the sweet side, possibly because Philippine mangoes are REALLY sweet, especially when overripe. I’d definitely wanna try making one that’s a bit sour (since I prefer sour over sweet ?). BUT ANYWAY, sharing the recipe for the glaze below! Feedback would be very much appreciated too since I’d wanna work on a different version of this glaze. You can find the crispy cauliflower base recipe in my blog www.thefoodietakesflight.com. CHILI MANGO GLAZE (Edited on July 20)

3/4 cup mango puree (I blended 1 1/2 fresh Philippine mangoes) + 1/2 cup water 
1-2 tbsp maple syrup*
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp + 1 tsp soy sauce 
2 tsp sriracha or other chili sauce, adjust depending on desired spice
3/4 cup water

*NOTE: Feel free to totally omit the maple syrup if the mixture is already sweet enough. I added some lemon juice to add a little of sourness ✨

1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water

Bell peppers (optional)
Spring onions (optional)

1. In a food processor/blender, add in the fresh mangoes (if using). Once it’s processed, add 1/2 cup water to thin it out. 
2. (If not using bell peppers skip to step 3) Heat the sauce pan and add a little oil. Sauté the bell peppers until cooked.
3. In a sauce pan, mix the puree and the rest of the ingredients together except the cornstarch + water mixture. 
4. Leave to simmer until it boils. Once it boils, add in the cornstarch mixture. Stir until it starts to thicken. Turn off heat and add in the cauliflower. Coat well then sprinkle some spring onions if desired.*
5. Note: I used the crispy cauliflower recipe on my blog as a base for this one and then just added the glaze. Enjoy!
