Recipe: Cook 1/2 medium finely diced onion in 2 T olive oil with 1 teaspoon kosher salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper over medium heat until translucent. Add 3 cloves minced or grated garlic and cook one more minute. Add 28 oz. can crushed tomato, 2 teaspoons each oregano and dried basil, stir, and gently simmer (partially covered) for 10 minutes! Add more salt/pepper if desired ??
