An Easy Tomato Cream Sauce on some homemade pan fried gnocchi #veganuary? Happy MLK day ✌?Staying warm in Brooklyn with all the comfort food ???? Recipe for Sauce: 1 cup cashews, 3/4 cup veggie broth, 1 tbl olive oil, 1 tbl butter, 1 medium onion diced, 3 garlic cloves minced, 2 cans tomato sauce (no salt) 15 oz, 1 tsp Italian seasoning, salt & pepper to taste, 1tbl tomato paste
1️⃣ In a blender combine cashews & broth on high till smooth, set aside
2️⃣Heat oil and butter in sauté pan over medium heat
3️⃣Add onions & garlic cook 2-3 min
4️⃣Add tomato sauce, paste, & seasoning bring to a boil and simmer 25-30 min
