A throwback on this Thursday to this bowl of creamy MAC NO CHEESE TOPPED WITH “BACON” ? will share the Mac No Cheese recipe below but you can find the bacon recipe on my blog! Also, I haven’t had much time to cook lately so I’m definitely missing all my time in the kitchen but I’m really enjoying my internship and learning so much! Hope you all had a great week so far! ❤️ And apologies for the second post, I realized I like this shot better ?

Mac no Cheese
__
250 grams pasta of choice (dry)
1 1/2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp all purpose flour
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup nutritional yeast
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 1/2 cups non-dairy milk
1 1/2 tsp sea salt, or to taste
1 tbsp lemon juice

1. Cook pasta according to package instructions.
2. In a large pan, heat oil over medium heat.
3. Add in the flour and combine until a paste is formed, around 3 minutes.
4. Add in the garlic, nutritional yeast, tomato paste, non-dairy milk and salt.
5. Stir occasionally over medium heat until sauce begins to thicken.
6. Once sauce has thickened, turn off heat and mix in lemon juice.
7. Add in pasta and mix well. Serve immediately.
