Creamy alfredo pasta with ?️ cauli ‘wings’ – save this finger-licking recipe & tag a friend? Happy ? day, everyone! Sharing another slurpy pasta made with cauliflower.?
Recipe (serves 4-5) *There are 2 parts, like 2-in-1 recipe ?
1️⃣Cauli ‘wings’ recipe (similar to my last recipe)
~ 1 small head of cauliflower, cut into small florets
?Crusty ingredients: ✔️Whisk together 3/4 cup all purpose flour, 2 tbsp rice flour, 1/2 tsp salt, dash black pepper mix in 3/4 cup water until no lumps appear. Prepare deep shallow pan with oil, dip florets in batter & shake excess. Then, shallow pan fry until golden brown or bake at 480F until crispy on the outside.
?Saucy ingredients: ✔️Whisk together 3 tbsp ketchup, 1 tbsp of each (soy sauce, *sugar, tabasco sauce) in 1-2 tablespoons water. *Start with 1/2 tbsp sugar first, taste test.
?In a heated pan with 1 tsp oil, SLOWLY add sauce in(it will splash) & florets. Coat them until well combined. This can be a meal by itself (my kids’ favorite)?
2️⃣Creamy alfredo (~ my mac n ?)
~ 1 small head cauliflower, wash & cut into florets
~ 1 tbsp melted butter (used @miyokoscreamery ), 3 cloves of roasted garlic, 1/2 – 3/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk, 1/4 cup veggie stock, 4-6 tablespoons nutritional yeast, salt & black pepper to taste
~ pasta of your choice, cooked until al dente @barillaus
~ 1 lb asparagus, blanched & drained
?Boil florets until soft & drain. Blend cauli, garlic, milk, and nutritional yeast until fine, if it’s too thick, add more milk – alfredo sauce?
?Drain pasta leaving just a little water in the pot. Then, add alfredo sauce, blanched asparagus & keep tossing until sauce thickens. Season with salt and black pepper if needed. Serve with cauli ‘wings’. ? Enjoy, have a great midweek!!
